Artist's Description

The Haseki Hürrem Sultan Bath was built in 16th century for Hürrem Sultan,
also known as Roxelana. She was the wife of Ottoman Sultan Süleyman.
The Ottoman style bath (hamam) with a men and a woman section was built
1556-1557 by the famous architect Sinan. The building is located near to
Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque in Sultanahmet district of Istanbul.
