The old Richardson Complex in Buffalo, NY. Formerly knowns as the Buffalo State Hospital for the Insane. Built in 1871 according to the Kirkbride Plan laid out by Thomas S. Kirkbride.. It was closed in 1975, when it was replaced with a more modern building that sits on the same campus.
There are plans in place to have it restored back to it’s former glory.
