Artist's Description

The room Vincent Van Gogh rented in Auvers-sur-Oise exemplifies austerity. It is something one may look at daily and be reminded that creativity comes from within, not what you have. He did so much with so very little. This room was his last residence. While in Auvers-sur-Oise, he was treated for illness and tragically died.

This shot was in my solo exhibition, “A Day without Worries,” at Francaise de Sarasota in Florida and in the book with the same title. 50% of profits go to them and also to Red Cross for relief of victims of Japan’s earthquake and tsunami.
