After updating to Firefox 3.5, I found that my photos when compared to IE looked like they’d lost colour.
I thought it was a bit weird so I googled it and found this fix I’d like to share for others that have the same problem.
1. In the address bar type about:config
2. Filter by gfx and set the value of gfx.color_management.mode to 0 (zero).
3. Shutdown all instances of Firefox completely and restart it.
Your photos should now be back to normal.
It may be that something dodgy is going on with my colour profiles, so only apply this change if you’re having trouble yourself :-)

But remember…that once you have changed the values…you must recalibrate you monitor agian :)
