Shady Character
So, funny story:
As i was taking this picture, just past the corner, there was a guy with his girlfriend walking towards me. I was trying to angle it so I wouldn’t get him in the shot, but he was insistent on pursuing my field of vision, so I had to keep shifting further around the corner from him. This took approximately 45 seconds to complete, so that by the end of it, the guy was absolutely convinced that I had been trying to get a shot of him (and/or his girl) and as I walked past, he scowled the ugliest look at me and flipped me the bird right before he jabbed his shoulder into mine. Then he turned to look at the corner where I might have been interested in something other than him, saw the little doodle, and covered his mouth while his eyes got real big. I just gave him the “come hither” look and sent a kiss his way while his girlfriend gave me the stink eye. It was a pretty interesting encounter, and one of my first with rude people in New York. But I survived and will continue to bring you the good sarcastic news for as long as I can, or at least until I get knifed :P

Super shot and a great story behind it, why are big citys the most populated but nobody ever talks to anybody? Keep up the good work.

Great image! Isn’t it great that there are so many differences in human behaviour that allow us to not only explore the world as a whole, but to help us to define ourselves. Love the scenario – keep up the fascinating work. Love your style.
