the first, and so far only, snow fall in new york city this winter. it was so beautiful and magical to be in the biggest city in the united states and one of the acclaimed greatest cities in the world and watch as it transformed into sparkles. i’m also really glad my new camera held up and didn’t get any cold or water damage :)

this is looking up through the lighted branches of one of the trees lining the front of rockefeller center. i’m not sure what the buildings in the picture are, but i think they add a lot to the image.
