Sleeping on subways
This was my first ever time riding on the subway, and therefore my first ever time witnessing the hectic lifestyle of New Yorkers. My lovely guide informed me that if you were tired on the subway, you napped while the train was moving and then woke up when it stopped to check where you were. I never thought I could do that, until the last day I was on it and I fell asleep with the rumble of the train on the tracks, only to be jolted awake whenever we reached a stop. It’s really not that bad, but it definitely doesn’t qualify as beauty sleep. I highly recommend having a shoulder to lean on :)

Great capture and the sepia is a nice choice that ties the main character with the surrounds.

I am so impressed with this series. I think I’ve said how much I want to see New York, I feel like I’m there with this series, (thanks for saving me some money on my plane fairs). It’s great to see the real stuff. Keep them coming, these images are like my little fix until I have enough money to get there myself! Great work!

lovely words to go with this image…you have inspired me to start doing this also….i have often fallen asleep on transport as a teenager and many times found myself passed the stop where i needed to get off….that sometimes even happens here (RB)...i pass the stop when i should get off! lol
he has a great facial expression and i love the background poster…it almost suggests that the subway is storing him!

Too funny! Though I would want to be really picky about whose shoulder I was leaning on, if you know what I mean… Digging the sepia.
