Digital photography is doing for photography what the piano did for keyboard music. You can still play music composed for the harpsichord on the piano but not the other way around.
Brilliant using the figure to give an idea of size
Thanks. I have another one straight from the front but that was just a funny face. Glad I waited for someone to walk past.
Great shot Bru..Cheers
Ohhhhhhhh!!!! How I wish I was allowed into Melb’s main dockyard! :-(FABULOUS image Faul, easy FAVE! :-))))
The tourist brochures describe it as a “working harbour” and a that’s a big part of why I like the place so much. A great mix of activities and large variety of shops and restaurants. Thanks for the favourite.
Tourist brochures? Wowwwww!!!! :-))) There’s nothing like a “working harbor” here in Melb (or Australia, for that matter) that encourages tourism :-( All harbors/docklands are heavily guarded by Unions, no general public allowed :-/ Wish Melb/Australia could learn from what you’ve got over there … You’re welcome for the FAVE, love the feeling of the ship’s immense ‘size’ conveyed in your image :-)))
The V&A Waterfront started when someone thought about converting old warehouses into shopping centres and a new container area (strictly out of bounds) was built. When visits to Robben Island (where Nelson Mandela was jailed) became popular it spilled over into the working harbour. Lucky me!
Indeed, lucky you! :-)))… and I’m most envious! ;-)
