Inside the take-out by awefaul

The shop windows of the main building reflect the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town, early in the morning. Many people come to this franchise for a take-away whatever, but when I go there and if I’m lucky there is a picture to take-away.
The reflections are very faint in the original RAW images but combining three exposures with Photoshop CS5 Merge to HDR Pro makes it visible.
Part of the Window Shopping collection and Figures in an urban landscape series.

Digital photography is doing for photography what the piano did for keyboard music. You can still play music composed for the harpsichord on the piano but not the other way around.

This is a beautiful interesting shot. Reflections are great whether in water or windows :)

  • Thanks. I like how the glass sometimes reflect the outside and how it is transparent at places.

I don’t understand what you did, but it worked 100%.

  • Thank you so much. Well, HDR was designed to extend the range of a single exposure but it isn’t used for that much.

    Great scene of transparency !!

  • Thank you. The take-away became a source of reflection pictures since they opened a few months ago and I have two more to post later.
