Digital photography is doing for photography what the piano did for keyboard music. You can still play music composed for the harpsichord on the piano but not the other way around.
I think they forgot Amsterdam! Nice shot though :)
That’s a serious oversight! I have immediately written a email to Waterfront management on your behalf. It reads in part: “A international traveller and photographer I know is planning to visit, and record, a construction site at the Waterfront. She is from Amsterdam and I notice that there isn’t a sign that points to any cities of our dear founding father Jan van Riebeeck’s home country, Holland. The casual visitor also have no indication how far the first Dutch settlers had to come to set up a take-away in 1652…”
Thank you so much. As someone who takes comedy very seriously it give me great pleasure to make people laugh.
Thank you. It is a lot of fun to just walk around and see what’s up.
Faul, if really sent that email letter, wonderful! If not, it gave me a good laugh anyway!
Well, the citizens with a lot of Dutch ancestors, like me, doesn’t have much influence any more but I’m not complaining.
Thank you so much!
