This restaurant at the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town, opens only late in the morning. There is also a vantage point where you can observe the activities as they get ready and provide the ideal opportunity for a series.

Digital photography is doing for photography what the piano did for keyboard music. You can still play music composed for the harpsichord on the piano but not the other way around.

    Love this faul!

  • Thank you Berns. Initially I thought that the lines of the shadows on the tables would mirror well with those of the steps. Then those, ever present, tourists came and “spoiled” it.

    Wonderful color palette!

  • Thank you so much. It took a long time to balance the hard direct sunlight on the tables with the much subtler softer reflections.

    Phantastic shot!

  • Thank you. It is almost as if I added another transparent layer in photoshop, but I didn’t.
