Digital photography is doing for photography what the piano did for keyboard music. You can still play music composed for the harpsichord on the piano but not the other way around.

Good line: broken & Crooked. Very nice!

  • Thank you so much. When possible I like to add links to similar pictures in a series. I added two since your comment that you can click on.

    Fabulous Faul! LOVE those shadows!

  • Thank you. It is a surprise, seeing that only a small part of the shadows are Berns Black…

    Wonderful shadows and perspective :)

  • Thanks. I use to cross the pedestrian bridge every time I went there, but I don’t park on that side anymore, so when I saw it yesterday it was as if for the first time.

Its a great series, but I think this is the best one. The shadows are killers!

  • Thank you. A really satisfying thing about photography is that I didn’t plan to take this picture until seconds before, didn’t really see what I had until hours later and comments, like yours days later.

The best are never planned! I love just going for a city wander for about 4 hours, and just shoot whatever comes to hand, as long as the light is good (anything other than a grey overcast day). I think we see better this way, without the preconceptions clouding the view.
