Both pictures that make this image was taken at Kalk Bay overlooking False Bay, near Cape Town.
It is the first time I found a use for the “Color Match” feature of Photoshop CS4.

Wonderfil shot, Faul! Great eye! Love the reflection and the colours!

  • Thank you so much but it isn’t a reflection but a complete separate seascape. (I just had an idea to ‘match’ the colours even better)

SO COOL!!!!!! We had color match in the PS version class I took ages ago … I love how you did this … VERY clever!!!!!

  • Thank you Lois! The colours were close to begin with and that was what gave me the idea of the seascape but after the Colour Match it really popped. Glad you like it.

I love the colour match feature! It works really well when you use textures alot.

This is wonderful Faul, it feels very surreal.
Congratulations on your feature in the Photo Manipulators Group

  • Thanks for the feature Rosemary! Slowly working my way towards using textures and such.

    This is really brilliant!

  • Thank you very much. Two pictures on the same day with similar colours that could not quite make it on their own just “found” each other.
