This is the second picture. After the first I noticed that the sun was almost right behind and I moved a little for minimum shadows. Like using the sun for a flash light. The walkway to and from the beach at Fish Hoek and the False Bay coast near Cape Town.
Thanks Herman. Do you think I should mark it Not safe for work?

LOL!!! Pffff, I nearly choked while zipping my coffee!!
Errrr, I should think you can leave the sign ‘not safe for work’ as it IS very good to watch while working, since the tranquility of it makes you loose all your work related stress!! This should be sold to a company with a large conference room, so many people can benefit from it!!
All jokes aside, this looks awesome and reminds me definitely of the Dutch dunes. Looks very similar.
Cheers, Marion
Thanks Marion. I added a little background description since your kind comment.
Excellent!!!!! Congratulations on your well deserved feature! :D
Thanks a lot, Cee.

Love the tranquility this capture evokes. Beautiful work… Congratulations on your feature!
It is amazing. I took the picture a long time ago, posted it because of a challenge (still going on) and suddenly it takes off and features! Now I see it differently every time there is a new comment. Thank you.
‘phallic’? maybe – but I love the fact that the sand will take over in the end…this is beautiful and evocative and takes me back to childhood – a good place to be sometimes. Congratulations on the feature
Thanks. You are right, there is a lot about time and change in the picture. Perhaps it is time for a follow up.
I adore this … have a few I’d taken long ago with heaven only knows what camera (one of the toss-aways??) of the walk to the beach … your image goes right to my heart!!!!
