It is that time of the year for me to reflect on 2009, on memories and lessons learned, about relationships and change. I also see that there are many lists on the internet for the best and worst of the last decade, the noughties, and think back with nostalgia at the end of the previous century, and change. I feel extremely lucky to live in these times and looking forward to a brand new year and memorable pictures from you all. Taken on the beach at Kommetjie on the Cape peninsula near Cape Town

This is beautiful! And your thoughts on it too.
What footsteps will be washed away first by the foam of the waves? The ones going forward or the other ones? Maybe one of each, and is that symbolic then?
I am looking forward to embrace a new period in time!! If the next ten years will pass while people care I am happy. Care for each other and the world! That would be my wish for the decade coming!
