Planning on making a body of works with these sorts of drawings.
Beautiful Anonymous – born of the idea that we obsess over people of beauty whom we don’t actually know, yet they can infuse and control so many aspects of our lives (our self image, or consumer choices, our affections, etc.)
Yet the idea is also reflective of each person’s individual view of beauty. These are silhouettes, you can give her whatever face your heart desires.
The work is too large to scan and the photo doesn’t really capture the right details. It’s graphite drawing with ink sprayed background.

I was just looking through your work on here and was about to ask you about the faceless women but then I read this and it makes sense.
Without the face the form seems like just a shell, the eyes are the window to a person’s soul, so these pictures to me represent a soulless being, not quite dead, yet searching for life…
