A herd of Amargasaurs make their way across the mud-flats in the early evening. The silt on the ground was deposited by a flash-flood the year previous, which left the few mangled tree stumps that remain.

Two females reinforce their social bonds with a brief nuzzle. In the background, the male is just about visible, with his brighter neck frill standing out in the early evening sunshine.

Watercolour on mount-board. Original available.
