Wires
An almost macro photo of a tennis court fence in black and white. I’ve had people comment that this image looks more computer generated than a photo.

It does look computer generated in it’s preciseness, beautifully simple though, nothing better than looking very closely at something one normally ignores.

This is a really great image. Would never have thought to look at a fence like this.

Absolutely agree with onetonshadow and Bridget a’Beckett. A view and perspective that many never think of… well done

My friend and I walked past a wire fence the other day. Thinking of this image we spent five minutes pushing our faces against the fence and looking up at the sky to try and recreate the effect you’ve achieved here.
It was mildly embarrassing when a passerby asked what we were up to. Sadly, we couldn’t convince them to have a look for themselves.
Is what we were doing an example of life imitating art … or what?

Thanks for all the kind comments.
It was taken during a lunch break at my old work. Just thought I’d try shooting a few B&W pics.

Something mesmerising about the patterns.

I am glad you gust thought to shot this one. When I saw it I thought that you had stretched the wire out on a light table…
I love the unusual angle. Have done similar in the past, one of my favorite tricks was to lay on the ground and take very low angle shots of street-scapes!!! got a few odd looks to be sure.
