Apophysis 7X
This was made out of 3 fractals which took over 60 hours to render. The final triptych was 7600×4200 which i thought it would be too big, so i uploaded a 5700×3150 one.

What a stunning image you have produced – worth every minute of the time you spent on it.

absolutely gorgeous … love the detail! … (big smile) … what patience you have with the rendering time … six hours is about what I can stand lol … we need a render farm!
.
hmmm found this article Build Your Own Render Farm
.
ok ok too much to do on our own unless we were super geeky but we can dream, eh (smile) but then again I’m not sure Apo could be rendered this way anyway …
thanks for taking the time to check my stuff, and also for the nice article. Well the rendering was actually 3 renders, and only one was longer than my usual renders, the one in the middle took 40 hours, and it looks like i managed to have enough patience this time, lool. And i think Apo is far much over excellent for a free software, but how knows what comes… :)

Wow! This is gorgeous! I have the same problem with render times in UF. Only the simplest fractals render quickly. If you want to explore the more complex ones you have to be prepared to render all day. I tend to do my renders while I’m sleeping.
thank you, i’m glad you like it. Yes, sleeping time is good time for renders here too :D

you’re most welcome … been dreaming of render farms for some time now (grin) …
.
for free Apo is excellent and the most detailed and complex that I’d love to render would take more time than I have patience lol … yet I’ve been practicing .. patience that is … as soon as we get our electrical problems in the house worked out I’m setting up my second ’puter and then I can render all night on that machine (grin) …
How absolutely beautiful….!!!
thank you, much appreciated :)
