pigment, acrylic, pastel, graphite and stitching on paper sacred site – where the water serpent laid its eggs – on the Paroo river on a dis-used outback sheep station, between Bourke and Broken Hill….. sublime, powerful and talks to me still…….lived there 5 weeks in silence with the thrum of the earth sounding through every cell…..beyond description

a very stunning place pinky, but also very dry (it used to be that is…prob under water now)…and SILENT…big desert can be very confronting…I was very happy to feel creative there and find my place, by the river, with the enormous river gums…..yes magical
