Coorong salt lake
Pastel on primed Art Spectrum Pastel paper, 50 cms X 70 cms.
There is a spectacular commitment to diversity on the Coorong and sadly very compromised by upstream irrigation which depletes the river systems flowing to this sea-side ecosystem…........but there is this brilliant cerise succulent that carpets the salty aridness and the immensity of its colour is breathtaking.
If ever there was a land kissed in passion it is this plain of ancient homelands.

I see we are cruising each other’s sites synchronistically…....(that is such a hard word to spell!)............I am excellently harmonizing on all levels..ready to LEAP.
