This gate leading into the Maltese town of Vittoriosa (aka Birgu) is also known as the Advanced Gate. It is not as elaborately carved as the Couvre Porte Gate nearby but still worth a photograph even if it is illuminated at night with a light that has a peculiar greeninsh tinge!
