A simple picture (the title says it all) but perhaps not without charm….taken at low tide at Trebarwith Strand, North Cornwall on a Casio QV-3000EX compact and colour balance, brightness etc tweaked in Serif PhotoPlus.

I am surprised that this beautiful photograph has not garnered more comments. This is really an excellent example of a fine art photograph. Terrific composition and perfect exposure. Good eye to see this, and darn great capture! If I might make a suggestion; I think that this would look fabulous in black and white as well. It has some great tones and textures. Do let me know if you do a black and white conversion and post it. Well done! Cheers! Chris
Thank you for your encouraging comments, lonebearimages. I’ll have a go in black and white – I hadn’t thought of that, I must admit. I’m having some problems trying to think of ways to publicise my photographs. If you have found ways to do this effectively please post another comment!
Just one word; superb! There is so much going on in this image. More, please.
Thank you surrealmoves, Kathy and Anne. Very encouraging!

Great capture Avalon. Love the textures and the composition fantastic.
possibly one of my favourite places on this earth is Trebarwith Strand, the pue energy of the waves as the tide comes in is fantastic
Thanks, Rinkydink. I consider myself fortunate to live within walking distance.
Just found this gem of yours – really classic with the lines in the sand and rock well spotted
