A typical small general store selling almost anything (hence the name bazaar). There’s probably one of these in just about every village in Malta and Ghawdex (known as Gozo in English). This one is located in the former island.

    This is an excellent presentation of the good old village Bazaar. It would be a sad loss if small stores like this one will slowly wither away, and will only be remembered as a thimg of the past! This picture is surely a few months old. Judging by the TV Magazines’ promotional advert of those two teleserials and the court news (in Maltese and English!) in the local papers, it could even be a few years old! (Please correct me if I’m wrong) Good of you to show a part of our everyday life my friend.
