I really enjoyed doing this portrait – trying to capture Katherine’s sweet smile and gentle face.

… A face full of joy and pain and the many memories of a lifetime.

This painting is of my grandmother Katherine Delaney. The painting is fantastic and captures her beauty, style and elegance brillantly. Nana was born in Co Laois in 1916 but lived most of her life in Miletree, Birr, Co Offaly. We are looking forward to showing her your work.
