Thank you to Mar Silva for buying my first card. I wish I could tell you how much this means to me, especially today. Seeing the comments and feeling that maybe I am doing something right and in some small way making someone happy with my art.

I know it seems a bit silly, but of all the things I could and should be doing today, RB is my little haven where I can see so many beautiful creations by wonderfully talented people. Keeping me busy and trying not to think too much.
I got a call from my mom in SA today. She told me that my dad is in hospital and will have an operation tomorrow. He had heart failure. She reassured me that he is ok, he is fine and is being well taken care of – but it’s hard to do anything but worry.
They are so far away and – another world. A dangerous and troubled world.
So, while I am confused and worried and wondering what I should do, for brief moments here on RB, I am blessed to be surrounded by wonderful people who share so much beauty with the world

Thank you all so much! :-) He had a heart attack two years ago so I feared the worst yesterday. I am still waiting to hear the outcome of the operation today. Thank you and bless you all for your kindness.
