In memory of my friend, John Quinn
who died tragically on Sunday 11 July 2010. John was a kind, soft-spoken and generous man and I am so sorry that he will never get to see this painting that was done from one of his beautiful photographs.

John was a talented photographer and his passing is a great loss, not only to his friends and family but also to County Clare. We will always remember you, Jo…

Why I have neglected you all so much....

Posted over 2 years ago

It’s been a while since I could add new works and visit RB… and I really miss my friends here.

Truth is, I have been a bit ill… and very worried too. I don’t exactly know how to say this as I did not want to explain but I decided perhaps I need to tell you why I have been away for so long…

Well… besides being busy with teaching and painting – which helped…

We must appreciate each day

Posted almost 3 years ago

My heart breaks for my dearest friend who lost her beloved so tragically. I will never find the words to say how much I feel her sadness but can only be there for her whenever she needs me. Death does not always give us the chance to say goodbye.

An Irish Prayer

Death is nothing at all.
It does not count.
I have only slipped away into the next room.
Everything remains as it was.
The old life that we …

Really sorry for the neglect!

Posted almost 3 years ago

Dear Bubble Friends!!

I am really very sorry for neglecting you all so much. So much has happened over the last months and I just had so little time for myself. Unfortunately, I neglected everything and everyone else in order to get things in order. I feel most terrible about my groups as I am not usually one to disregard my responsibilities.

I just cannot keep up with everything nowadays and the…

To make a very long story really short:

We landed in Cape Town in the midst of a heat wave!!! From light snowfall in Ireland to 40 degrees – well, it was quite a …

What's happening!

Posted over 3 years ago

Dear friends, you may have noticed my absence over the last days and I do apologise for not being able to keep up with everything here. I have been so busy lately with the exhibition and art courses.

The exhibition opening on Thurs 12 was a great success. Approximately 100 people turned up and it was absolutely wonderful for my students to see all the interest. Their paintings were gorgeous and I…

"Art is for Everyone" Exhibition

Posted over 3 years ago

The “Art is for Everyone” concept was born one evening when I was showing a few friends some of my oil painting techniques that I taught myself over several years. They suggested that I should offer oil painting art courses as they learnt so much in a short time and had lots of fun as well.

At first I only did one day courses but gradually the course evolved into weekend and six week …

Meet my Hubby!!

Posted over 3 years ago

I just helped Gerhard my husband, upload his first paintings to Redbubble.

He only recently started to paint (with my help, which proves that women CAN teach men… ROFL!)

I am very proud of what he has done so far and I think he has great talent. Although he does not have a lot of time, he has found great joy painting whenever he can.

Please visit him whenever you have the time… thank …
