A Walk In Autumn 2 by autumngirl

mid-October, 2010
Wheat Ridge, Colorado

You’d never know it from this view, but just beyond that bridge, the pathway ends, and there’s a residential neighborhood, and regular streets. I suppose there’s a way around to the other side of the nature area from there, but we didn’t go exploring for it that day!

I’m a fractal artist and photographer, and love going outdoors for photo shoots of nature when I’m not indoors designing art using Ultra Fractal or Apophysis! I also draw, the old-fashioned way, but none of my drawings are on RB….yet….lol…

    Looks inviting!

  • Reese, it really is a wonderful place in Autumn! To find it, you go to Wheat Ridge, to Kipling (St., Ave., Blvd….whichever one it is, I forget) and I seem to remember it being either at, or close to, the corner of Kipling and 38th….it’s a park there, with walking trails, and a couple of those bridges crossing over the water. If you look on an online map of the area, you’ll find it….google maps does the best, in my opinion. We’ve since moved back to Georgia, so I’m gonna miss that place, but you should go, once Autumn arrives – you’ll love it! :)

I work really close to that so I will have to stop by this fall sometime! Sad to hear you moved away. We never did make it out for a hike together.
