Bunny, Kathleen, this one’s for the two of you!

UF 5.4; my own gradients; image import of my new siggy that Kathleen made for me!

7 layers; KPK Mini formula, The Magic Formula, Daffers-Chelsea-Julia formula (one that Ronnie Sefton made for me), Pixel formula; outside colorings of SFBM Pixel, Trap The Light Fantastic, Jos Frames, Range Lite, Image Import, Plug-In Coloring (Gradient)

Now, after reading all that (if you did, lol!) you all do realize that the only good way to put something like this together is to snatch layers from other fractals you’ve already done, and add them to the new piece to enhance it……(huge grin)! Makes things soooooo much easier than having to start from scratch with each layer! (trade secrets being given away, here……hehe!)

I’m a fractal artist and photographer, and love going outdoors for photo shoots of nature when I’m not indoors designing art using Ultra Fractal or Apophysis! I also draw, the old-fashioned way, but none of my drawings are on RB….yet….lol…

Oh wow! This is superb. You have every reason to have a big grin on your face. :o) I’m still struggling to get some of the concepts down.

  • Thanks, Bunny! Don’t feel badly though – I can’t do much with Apo, the way you and some others do! UF seems to be my “thing”, the way that Apophysis is yours!

I agree with Bunny. Oh, wow! You are a master at this. The shadows are wonderful. I use that trade secret too. A lot of times, I will save single layers in a separate folder for different textures and effects. Unfortunately, I lost all of them when I had to reformat my computer several months ago, so I had to start over from scratch. Anyway, this is beautiful, Michelle and the sig looks great on it.

  • Awww, thanks, Kathleen! This comes from using the program for over five years now – lots of practice! And as to losing all that from your computer…….OUCH!!

STUNNING work… yes keep your fractals… they don’t come easy to me… ahahaha and use them for layering…. sure makes perfect sense to me.. If i ever manage to get anything worth saving I will use that precious tip… LOVE LOVE LOVE your image…. Fab ART… :)))))

  • Thanks so much, cookie! If you use UF, and need help, you can always give me a yell, and I’ll be glad to teach you how to use the program better! I’ve taught others how to use UF – no big deal, honest!
