How NOT To Cook A Turkey......lol....... by autumngirl

…..by accidentally turning off the cooker during the middle of the hours when it’s supposed to be just cooking away, all on its own, and then you get to about the time the turkey should be done, and…….OOOPS! It’s not nearly cooked enough! Gaaaaaaaah……..lol……and I can laugh, because it wasn’t my responsibility, or my house! We went over to the home of some friends, and by accident, one of them managed to turn off the cooker that had the turkey in it, and a fair while later, when we thought we were about to eat, that little faux pas was discovered! Well, how do you fix that?? By cutting up the bird and putting the pieces in the microwave, of course! ROFL! Ahhhh, well….it all turned out fine in the end, though we did have to eat about two hours later than planned! Good thing there were card and board games, and a television to occupy everyone else in the meantime! But it was a nice time with friends, and I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving, too! (for those of you here in the U.S.)

And if you’ve noticed I’ve not been uploading much art lately, it’s because I’ve been busy with the holiday, and now, I’ve gotten a new laptop computer, and am in the process of setting that up and getting things uploaded onto it. So, since that takes a fair bit of time, I might not be uploading much, still, for the next few days. Just to let you all know, in case anyone was thinking they missed something! And by the way……going to WalMart at 2:30 AM is HIGHLY overrated, in case you were wondering about that, too…..LOL! That’s how we got the laptop for only $300 (a Black Friday deal)……..but I was there from about 2:30 until just after 5:00 AM, and I’ll tell you, that’s a surreal experience, being in a WalMart at those hours, when I should have been home in bed! I don’t think I’ll try that again anytime soon…….if ever! But at least now, I have a lovely new laptop!
