Contemporary Texan Art Gallery
Exhibiting Contemporary art by women living and working within the state of Texas in a variety of mediums including photography, painting, installation, video, and sculpture.
An artist may exhibit her work in the gallery in a solo or group exhibition. To be considered for a solo or group show, one must respond to the W&TW Call for Entries. Applicants submit slides of their work, a one page artist statement, and resume. An artist advisory panel (6-10 artists who represent different regions of Texas and different mediums) evaluates the applicants on the strength of their artwork and then selects the individuals for exhibition. To be considered for a solo exhibition, one must be female, a Texas resident, and no longer a student. One need not have contributed financially to apply for a solo or group exhibition.
