I wish everyone would put such a detailed narrative with their bridge images. Wonderful information and a great capture!
Thankyou for your lovely comment Patricia. I guess most people just take the shot.. I spent two months of the summer of 2003 photographing every covered bridge in Oregon, as I had a dream of putting a book together. So I did a lot of research on every bridge. I initially shot them all on 35mm and am now retracing my steps and going digital. The dream is stil there, but its is’nt cheap to publish.
