Pyrography or wood burning onto natural Australian Red Cedar. 7″ × 12″ or 18cms by 30cms.
This photo was taken before the wax was applied. It shows the detail of the art much better than after the wax has been applied. Unfortunately the colour is not as nice.
The photo of the waxed Australian Red Cedar is an awesome colour, but the shine and the grain in the timber, made it impossible to see what the art work was supposed to be.
If there is much interest in this dunny I may consider uploading the other photo. Let me know. I wish I knew how to post them side by side, so you could compare them both.
