My main hobby since childhood is photography. I have done freelance photography in the US: weddings & portraits mainly. In Australia I have done pet portraits for friends, but now enjoy “Bush Photography” selling only to pay for my hobby.

I have never tried ‘photo shop’ or any experimental photography on the computer. All my photos are natural according to what I see through the view finder. I have a Canon EOS 400D digital SLR and a Canon EOS 1000D SLR. It has taken me this long to switch from 35mm to digital. I’m getting there.

My latest artwork is woodburning or pyrography. I use the scraps of timber from my husband’s handcarvings (Aussie animals) to wood-burn anything that suits the piece.

I also enjoy writing short essays, poems and the occasional novel…(when I have the time).

I’m a retired Nurse, but seem busier than ever before.
