I was born December 3 1974 in the town of Whakatane
New Zealand and lived there for 28 years until a family
tragedy gave me the opportunity to migrate to Adelaide
South Australia in 2003 where I am at present and
continuing to learn new things about my craft. I guess I’ve
been into arts and craft since I was a little kid.
I remember at the age of 5 trying to build a spacecraft out of
cardboard and cellophane and right through all my years I’ve been into drawing, painting, making models you name it even traditional New Zealand Bone Carving. You could say I have a fascination with many different subjects such as Egyptology, Astrology, Astronomy, Movies, Science Fiction, Art &Crafts, Ancient Cultures but I’ve always had this thing for Scifi which has grown over the years About 9 years ago I started using digital graphics programs to do some of my artwork and my obsession with science fiction got even bigger when I was able to create and build my own scifi ship designs in 3D and when I got my
hands on Bryce 6 I just could not believe the things that were possible. Bryce is my favourite graphics program but I do use others like Poser and Vue d’Esprit, Terragen and many other painting programs I get my
ideas from many different things such as movies, mags, dreams, even every day life but in some of my artwork I try to combine elements of my interest in ancient cultures & Egyptology with
science fiction.
