My first attempt at a star trail photo, taken on the beach in front of Skye Sailing Club in Portree, Scotland. March 2010.

Due to ambient light from the harbour and moon, I had to keep the exposure relatively short. 1303sec, ISO100, f8 from a Canon 5d Mark II, EF16-35 2.8 L II and processed with Raw and Photoshop.
