This abstract is a section of my photo of a tree stump I found in Cedar Key, Florida, USA. I have turned the photo a quarter turn, because when I do that I see a polar bear paw, as the bear swims in the cold dark waters of the northern polar regions. It is also available in the original orientation as One Leaf here.

FEATURED in Superbly Visual, Dec. 4, 2012

Having lived most of my life in the northeast U.S., I am enjoying retired life in sunny Florida. I enjoy photographing many different kinds of things, but especially flowers and animals, including the beautiful birds found here in Florida. I am currently using a Canon EOS Rebel XSi/450D camera, a Canon 55-250 mm telescopic zoom lens, and a Sony P10 Cyber-shot digital camera. My newest acquisition is a Canon PowerShot SX260 HS, a point and shoot which I will be carrying in my purse.

Please see the Description page for this.
RB, if you’re listening, I SHOULD NOT have to ask viewers to change pages to read what I’d like them to know about this image!

Indeed, it is quite a distraction to have to go to the “Description” every time! Thank you for voicing that, Dot!

  • It’s like preaching to the choir in comments, I suppose, but it’s nice to have a place to rant! LOL
