Sunset Reflections in St. Pete by

Canon PowerShot SX260 HS; 1/80, f/6.8, ISO 800, focal length 90mm; AUTO setting

Standing on The Pier in St. Petersburg, Florida, USA, and looking back at the city, I spotted this building with the setting sun reflecting in the windows so much that it looked like a fire. I was lucky to capture this…right time, right place, and an effective zoom capability on my camera!

Having lived most of my life in the northeast U.S., I am enjoying retired life in sunny Florida. I enjoy photographing many different kinds of things, but especially flowers and animals, including the beautiful birds found here in Florida. I am currently using a Canon EOS Rebel XSi/450D camera, a Canon 55-250 mm telescopic zoom lens, and a Sony P10 Cyber-shot digital camera. My newest acquisition is a Canon PowerShot SX260 HS, a point and shoot which I will be carrying in my purse.

Quite amazing Dot. I can actually see the sun through the glass !

  • Thank you, Morag. It may show up like this every sunny day at dusk, I don’t know. I’m glad it occurred this way for me! I thought it was really interesting!
