This Snowy Egret was standing on a rock in the same stream as the Yellow-crowned Night Heron I posted previously. I felt very lucky to see both in the wild and only a few feet from each other, as it was my first time with either bird! I’ve posted several Great Egrets, but this bird is smaller, has yellow feet and a dark beak, while the larger Great Egret has black feet and a yellow beak. (See below.) I snapped this while standing on a footbridge in a park in Seminole, Florida, USA.
