Having lived most of my life in the northeast U.S., I am enjoying retired life in sunny Florida. I enjoy photographing many different kinds of things, but especially flowers and animals, including the beautiful birds found here in Florida. I am currently using a Canon EOS Rebel XSi/450D camera, a Canon 55-250 mm telescopic zoom lens, and a Sony P10 Cyber-shot digital camera. My newest acquisition is a Canon PowerShot SX260 HS, a point and shoot which I will be carrying in my purse.

Terrific shot of this fine bird Dot, that really is a red eye, nice shine and sparkle there and lovely clarity.

  • Thank you so much, Morag. Do you think there’s enough shine there for the Glitter group? I wasn’t sure.

Wow – so do I! Beautiful capture, Dot!

  • Thanks so much, Monnie. So nice when a bird stands still for awhile so you can get a decent shot!

This is really nice Dot. I’ve tried photographing birds but I’m not quick enough for them.

  • Thank you, my friend. Some birds just stand there and pose. Those are the ones I look for. LOL Not too good at capturing a flying bird, however.
