I don’t like to post pictures of my grandchildren showing the face, but I thought I’d post this unidentifiable photo. This is my 6-year-old grandson, who like my three other grandchildren, is so totally comfortable in the water, no matter how deep. He can swim the 30 foot length of the pool without coming up for air! Of course there is always an adult in attendance. This was taken in my pool in Dunnellon, Florida, USA. Seeing him do this is such a meaningful moment, as this little guy had a hole in his heart and underwent open-heart surgery to repair it when he was 15 months old. He is an active normal child now, and I thank God and the good medical staff who took care of him and gave him a normal life. I will dedicate this to the heart surgeon, who did an amazing job through a very small incision.
