I found this beautiful white flower near the Rainbow Springs State Park in Dunnellon, Florida, while testing out my new camera. One of nature’s perfect little pieces of art, it reminds me of a pure and open heart.
Having lived most of my life in the northeast U.S., I am enjoying retired life in sunny Florida. I enjoy photographing many different kinds of things, but especially flowers and animals, including the beautiful birds found here in Florida. I am currently using a Canon EOS Rebel XSi/450D camera, a Canon 55-250 mm telescopic zoom lens, and a Sony P10 Cyber-shot digital camera. My newest acquisition is a Canon PowerShot SX260 HS, a point and shoot which I will be carrying in my purse.

Thanks much, Cookie! Yes, a new toy for me. My old Sony pocket camera takes great pics, but it was so limited in pixels (5mp) and zoom (3x). So far I like this new one a lot! Can’t always carry around my Canon DSLR, so it will be nice to have this one in my purse. :-))

I LOVE mine…. it is 14 Megapixels.. but my ZOOM isn’t great…. does good Macros tho.. LOL xx
I thought this one was more mp, but it’s 12.1. The 20x zoom is what I really like! Of course if it’s a Canon it’s gotta be great, right?
