“Inspiration is never genuine if it is known as inspiration at the time. True inspiration always steals on a person, its importance not being fully recognized for some time.” ~ Samuel Butler

Original photo: Canon EOS Rebel XSi/450D, Canon 55-250 lens
1/200s, f/5.6, ISO 320, focal length 154.0mm
Filters applied in Photoshop7 gave this an oriental feel in my opinion.

Having lived most of my life in the northeast U.S., I am enjoying retired life in sunny Florida. I enjoy photographing many different kinds of things, but especially flowers and animals, including the beautiful birds found here in Florida. I am currently using a Canon EOS Rebel XSi/450D camera, a Canon 55-250 mm telescopic zoom lens, and a Sony P10 Cyber-shot digital camera. My newest acquisition is a Canon PowerShot SX260 HS, a point and shoot which I will be carrying in my purse.

Oh …. this is gorgeous work Dot, has a beautiful oriental feel to it

  • Thanks so very much for your wonderful comment, Brenda! It’s hard to see here, but when it fills my screen I can see the canvas-like texture. It reminded me of silk and the Far East. So glad you like it. I always second guess myself. LOL (It was tough to find a title for this.)
