Young man stretching the pizza dough at our favorite local Italian restaurant/pizzaria in Dunnellon, Florida. He was kind enough to consent to having his photo taken. This was a dark photo I didn’t have any luck with, but I was able to get better detail using Topaz Adjust.

Having lived most of my life in the northeast U.S., I am enjoying retired life in sunny Florida. I enjoy photographing many different kinds of things, but especially flowers and animals, including the beautiful birds found here in Florida. I am currently using a Canon EOS Rebel XSi/450D camera, a Canon 55-250 mm telescopic zoom lens, and a Sony P10 Cyber-shot digital camera. My newest acquisition is a Canon PowerShot SX260 HS, a point and shoot which I will be carrying in my purse.

A perfect photo for Topaz Adjust!!! You are coming up with incredible photos with this software!! You don’t over do it either!! Just perfect, Dot!!! Hope the pizza was good!! :))

  • I’m sure I’m not doing it perfectly, but it sure helps with a dark photo that shows very little detail! I find it works well on some photos, but not nearly all. We were at the counter paying our bill, so this pizza was for the next customer. I couldn’t help whipping the point & shoot out of my purse and taking this, since he was at a perfect place with the dough stretching. I love their pizza, especially their white pizza. YUM!!!

Oooh, I love white pizza too (the more hot peppers, the better)! Very cool portrait of this hard-working young man! Agree the Topaz is pretty amazing (and I don’t use it enough).

  • Thanks so much, Monnie. I’m on the free trial month of Topaz, but I have a feeling I’ll want to buy it at the end of that month. I don’t want to overuse it, but this photo was pretty bad on it’s own. He’s a nice friendly kid and he even asked me if he should throw the pizza dough, but I decided I better have him in a still pose for this. LOL

Nice – with extra hot chilli’s for me. Know as the American Hot One – pepperoni and chilli’s yummey on a thin crispy base – now I am getting hungry….

  • Thank you, Vee! Sorry I made you hungry! I’m getting a yen for pizza again with all these comments. I don’t know about the hot chilis, though…

very nice shot Dot. dont’ you love Topaz

  • Thanks, Dave! Yes, and I hope I don’t overuse it. This photo really needed help, though. When my free month’s trial runs out, I’ll definitely buy it.
