Everyday I learn a tiny bit more about Photoshop by trial and error. This is my latest attempt to isolate an image from its background, then combine it with something new. I found this hot rod at the cruise-in at the “Hot Summer Night” block party in Dunnellon, Florida on August 13, 2011.

Having lived most of my life in the northeast U.S., I am enjoying retired life in sunny Florida. I enjoy photographing many different kinds of things, but especially flowers and animals, including the beautiful birds found here in Florida. I am currently using a Canon EOS Rebel XSi/450D camera, a Canon 55-250 mm telescopic zoom lens, and a Sony P10 Cyber-shot digital camera. My newest acquisition is a Canon PowerShot SX260 HS, a point and shoot which I will be carrying in my purse.

Wow you have done such a great Job on this Dot, I am in the process of learning Photoshop phew….beautiful work and lovely image.

  • Thank you, Andrea. I really need a class on Photoshop, but I’ve learned some of it by trial and error, and some with the help of some RB friends.
