This abstract is made from a photo of tree bark, manipulated in Photoshop. When I started to see the waves and the colors blend together in the processing, it was clear to me that I was seeing the oil slicks on the waves in the Gulf of Mexico. I was sad to see this develop, because it made me think again about the current disaster in the Gulf. Maybe my subconscious steered me to do this, and I felt compelled to post it here. Photo was taken near the Rainbow River in Dunnellon, Florida. I think this has a classy look as a tote bag or pillow.
