This is hawor Korcha on the way to “Biswamvarpur” situated in Bangladesh, where life is very dependent on encircling water. The distance of this place from besides city is not too far but it’s not fixed that how time will take to reach there. In summer its could be 5 to 10 minutes boat journey but in rainy season you will need minimum 1.5 to 2 hours boat journey to reach this place, as because, distance is also increase as water level is increase by the heavy rain falls and Indian water stream comes through this region. Farmers living very tragic life here. They got only one chance in a year for cropping, but most cases it’s washed out by flash flood caused by onrush of water from hilly areas across the Indian border.
However, farmers never break down. They prepare again for next year. They know its a part of their life as environmental condition is changing. They have to survive against this odd situation.
