Backpacking Europe
I am currently backpacking Europe and have so far spent 3 weeks in Italy and then 3 weeks in Spain (just got to Madrid today from Seville). Haven’t had much chance to put my photo’s on here but will do so when I finally get back home (in about a year! OMG). I’m having a blast though and learning so much about myself and the world around me.
Thanks and my new series
I just wanted to say thanks to those who’ve been visiting my page lately. I haven’t been online much so haven’t had a chance to respond to all comments individually, but I do appreciate your noticing me. :D
And a special thanks to those friends I’ve made here who keep coming back to check what’s new. I feet it’s time I stopped disappointing you and added some s…
Jane Eyre
I just finished watching the ABC’s two episode series of Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte and it’s made me dig out the book version I bought two years ago and shelved.
I have to say this book is worth a read, even if you’ve seen the show and know the story. (Actually it’s a lot of fun picking to show apart because it’s so untrue to the novel). I’m only about 6 cha…
Appologies
My apologies to those who have me on their watch list and have just been flooded with new uploads from me. I’m going to be putting some fliers out tomorrow and thought I should probably have more shots which weren’t just of the glacier (though those are definitely my favourites. :D)
Thanks again for your wonderful support and comments! :D They make my day.
Am I Fast Because I'm Young?
I do things quickly. I speak quickly (much to my Grandmother’s frustration), I type very quickly and I click through my documents and photo’s at super speed if I know what I’m looking for. I can even tell what song I’m listening to by the end of the first bar, most of the time.
Some adults seem to do everything slowly. If I want to show mum a picture, I don’t want to…
Thanks for your support
I just wanted to say a huge Thank You! to everyone who has viewed, commented on and favourited my work. It has given me faith that I may be able to do something with my photography some day soon. Such a wonderful feeling! I always try to comment everyone back, but if I’ve missed you I’m sorry. Prod me again and I’ll check out your gallery. :D
And thanks in particular to those wh…
My Photography Journey
I haven’t had much photography training unfortunately. I did a Creative Arts course at Uni where I did one photography subject though, and that’s where I really started to see the world through the lense of a camera. Most students in that class focussed on digital photography, but I loved developing black and white photo’s in the darkroom. There’s something magical about t…
First Card Sold! Thank You!
A huge Thank You! To whoever bought a card of my photo ‘Out for a Swim’. I was very excited, I’ve never sold any of my pictures before. :D dances
Self Confusion
I keep telling myself that I’m a logical, independent and in control woman. I’ve always known myself pretty well, and when I do something out of character or which embarrasses me, I get disgusted at myself, then sit back and think about why it happened and how I’m never going to let it happen again.
And then it happens again and I repeat the whole process.
Why do I do this? Am I…
It's too big!
There’s this exciting world out there that I’m just dying to see and photograph. But now that I’m actually planning a trip to take me there I’m realising just what a frightening and overwhelming prospect it is to go to another country and work there for 6 months. So much to do! I don’t know where to start. Australia is quite alone isn’t it really?
