Artist's Description

A comment on the unsustainable ways of mankind and the overfishing over our oceans. It is not enough to sate our hunger but we need to gorge oursleves until we puke.
The Greedy Man’s skin is a sickly yellow colour (for a human anyway) and his hair is green , almost toxic. These colours were used to also ‘pop’ it out from the background.
The fish have faces and hands to show the interconnection between their fate and ours.
Also I simply like to draw fish with faces and arms (which includes hands).
I have to add I love eating fish and If I can get the funds I would grow some in my backyard…. without the arms or an extra head etc.
This is done in pen and ink with colured pencil and highlighted with marker, on 120gsm bond paper.
