    There is so much going on here Alan..I love allows me to observe for long periods of time and still be delighted..I also love the combination of acrylic, pastel and charcoal together, so many fascinating textures and different widths..a favorite! xxx

    Maybe this is because of my work in the eating disorder field, but this looks like several mirrors and all the black lines symbolize ambivalence, confusion, anger, self contempt, internal chaos and hatred of self. I wish I could say I see hope in there somewhere, but it looks like someone who is in the middle of it who doesn’t yet see a way out. Sorry for the dark interpretation. But it’s an incredible piece!

    Hi Alan, have been looking through some of your older work and what a pleasure it is. I don’t remember this one, it’s really fantastic, takes a lot of looking, so much there. Great comp. and the line work has my head spinning. I think this should be posted in the Collective.
